Our WiFi management system consists of 2 nodes, located in Datacenter and connected in a cluster. Management cluster is connected to Internet thtough firewalls. APs on customer sites (located in different countries) connect to the cluster, all monitoring, configuration and firmware upgrades happen over AES encrypted tunnel. What is important — any connection interruptions between Controller and APs do not interrupt WiFi service.
